Hi, my name is Edward Gordon, but you can call me Egor. I would really like to have some conversations with Judeo-Christians about theology, and while I consider myself an ultra-fundamentalistic Christian, I'm not sure you won't just see me as a heretic.

If I don't get banned after you get to know me, I'll fill out my profile and all that. I'm not here to argue with anyone or proselytize. I'm just here to hang out and discuss interesting stuff. If you search Veridican, Veridicanism, or The First Veridican Church, you'll find out all you ever wanted to know about me and what I believe.

I guess for a while, I'll just hang out here in the new member section. If a mod reads this and knows right off that I won't fit in, it would be nice if you could just ban me right away, so I can move on to another site where I might fit in better.

But if it's all cool, I look forward to meeting you all.

God Bless,

Ed

Welcome to CFnet.

I think it's important that everyone read this link. http://wikibin.org/articles/veridicanism.html

So you established this church in 1993 in California, and you reject the protestant Bible in favor of only your select book? That's a statement and a question, because I'm not sure I've phrased that correctly.

Please be sure you read our Statement of Faith as well as the ToS that you agreed to when you joined. Whether it's the teachings of Paul or any other books within scripture, it is important to stay true to the ToS with respect to the Word.

Blessings.

Imho diversity is great and most of us are grown up christians (or non-christians) that are able to handle "heretic" or contradicting information. There's no reason to ban that guy at this point. It might be interesting for us to discuss his approach to christianity.

That's pretty close, yes. Technically, the First Veridican Church just started, but it has its genesis with The Veridical Christian Society in 1993. The Veridican Gospel of Jesus Christ was written by me in 2005 and first published in 2012. I believe with all my heart that it was guided by the Holy Spirit. It is a synthesis of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and the non-biblical Gospel of Thomas.

I think I could just stick with the Gospels that are in the New Testament. I don't have to use the Veridican Gospel of Jesus Christ at all. Yes, I believe that it is time for all Christians to take the next step in this generation, which is Veridicanism, but if you know that about me, and it's in my profile or whatever, then I don't need to "push" that.

I think it's enough for common ground that neither of us reject Jesus Christ. In this world, at this time, that's very important--and rare.

Welcome to CF.net, Ed!

Thanks, Claudya. I feel the same way. :wave

Okay, I've dressed up my profile. And I read the ToS, but there's a lot of rules there, so let me know if I step outside of them.

I don't typically make members aware of this kind of thing, but this guy deserves to be exposed, and you don't deserve to waste your time with him. Evidence turned up elsewhere on the net with him sharing that he's a troll who junks up Christian forums.

Locking this thread. He's done here.
