Hi everyone, my names Gene.

Its 12:30 in the morning here, I'll get around to sharing my testimony (its a long one)

Ive come to know Jesus since around september 2014, and have been in and out of a couple of churches.
After leaving a charismatic church last october, I havent been back to a congregation, so I'm sticking to the internet until I'm sure of where Gods directing me.

Hoping for some solid spiritual guidance, the Lord knows I need it.

We have others here from Australia.
We're an international bunch. I live in Italy.
I'm here for the same reason you are - fellowship.
Nothing but the Catholic church here. It's good. It's okay as a church. Nothing weird goes on there like in some churches - you know, rock music, exorcisms, etc. But I'm not catholic so...

Anyway, Welcome to the forum.
I'm happy to hear that you have decided to follow our Lord Jesus. You sound like a young guy. If so, this is the best decision you'll ever make in life. Jesus will follow you wherever you go and in every situation you'll face.

Oh wow Italy! I'd love to see that part of europe, I've never even left the state.
Yeah Australia is pretty diverse with the denominations over here, its actually been a bit of a hindrance apart from my faults.
The first church I walked into the day after I was saved was a small church that classed itself as 'Multinational', which was lovely, but turned out to be a stand-in-a-circle-convulse-and-scream church. I left after that haha.

I hope to get to know some of you guys well, and that God will build me up by being here.

Thankyou,I know it will be and is. He is working in the midst of my struggles I'm sure of it. :)

Don't know if you've ever been on a forum before. I had a lot of things to learn.

you can't say "wow England I'd love to see that part of Europe" cause as of yesterday we are no longer in Europe :0)
