Hi, God bless, and welcome!

Getting born again makes you a child of God, with all the rights, privileges, and standing He has extended to all His children. God is now your Father. But, accepting and receiving that new nature does not change your brain cells - it would be nice to have a quick and instantaneous transformation of those old thoughts. But, that is now your job.

And there's lots of Scripture that will encourage you along these lines - just remember that God gave you free will - you can think whatever thoughts you want to think. And as you grow in your knowledge of God and His Word, you can choose to think more of His thoughts - and that's a good thing!

Just don't be so hard on yourself - a newborn baby doesn't start walking the day it's born. And, you can check out my blog for so good content on having confidence in God. http://www.confidenceandjoy.com

Have a great weekend,

Mike
