i am a christian and wasnt in church like 10 years so...
trying to find peace in my heart and my soul so...

In John 3.16 we read about the only Savior of sinners; I don't know what doctrine you hold to but we need to be born again (John 3). Paul tells us in Ephesians 2.8 that it is by grace that the believer is saved through faith; verse 9 says it's 'not of works'.

On the basis of what we individually discover from God's Word, The Bible, it is then that the question arises of which sort of church we want to associate with.
