Hi everyone.
I'm an expat Australian living in my wife's remote village in Thailand. (lived in LOS 7 years:nod)
After recently moving to the village, I miss having good Christian conversation and basically any other conversation in English (I speak Thai but....)
I hope I can find and make some new friends here and offer some valuable input to topics also.

Sawatdee, Khun Grace, yindi tung roojak khun, sabaii di mai? khun pben pooying ru pooshai krup?:nod

Khun keui aan nungsue sart-sar-nar Christ mai? (Literally: Have you ever read the Christian religion book?) Christ is said as Chris with the "t" as in cat sound added.
There are probably better ways of asking this question but my Thai is only about 80%...very hard language to learn! 47 consonants, 16 vowels, 5 tone marks and then you have long and short vowels!

Sorry mate, but the last Thai I spoke was during "Nam. As a result, since I have not used it, I lost it.

I enjoyed bargaining with the pedicab drivers, and telling them where I wanted to go, eating water buffalo steak, and things like that

A belated and apologetic Thank you to Questdriven, Eugene, Agape, The Unbeliever, Godsgift, Farouk and ByGrace for making me feel welcome. sorry for taking so long.

ByGrace no apologies needed, pedicabs huh.....ummm...don't have them anymore except in tourist towns...still got great buffalo steaks though
