Hi my name is Iman and I'm Iranian, and i recently accepted God Christ into my heart and I'v felt blessed ever since.
I recently contacted a church who refused to me a baptism and im kind of scared bcz i dont know what to do?Does anyone recommend me anything?
And I'v started reading the bible.I'm currently on the old testament ''leviticus'' and The bible is such an incredible book.
Anyways sorry if i took ur time.

Hi Iman and welcome to the forum from me too. I hope you enjoy it here it can be a great learning resource for any questions you might have.

It is such good news about your recent commitment, I bet you are full of joy and many questions.

God made the Earth in 7 days but often it takes years to make Christians.

Whatever you do dont be anxious or worried, you cant loose your salvation by making little mistakes on the way to learning about your new faith and god will never withdraw from you.

The book of John is a good place for a newer christian to read to learn about Jesus
the book of proverbs is a great way to learn how to stay out of trouble.

The important baptism you may already have had which is when the holy spirit comes on you after commitment. That is what that wonderful happy feeling is you experience. The water baptism is more of a public recognition of your faith and for many it doesnt happen at the same time as conversion so its OK if its delayed a month or 2 or longer. Talk to a pastor at a church. If you ask us here we can guide you about what different churches offer that you might like.

Hi iman. God bless your reading of His Word. It's good to combine Old Testament reading with New Testament reading. In this way we see the remarkable unity of Scripture and of God's loving purposes in Christ.
