Hi my name is Piman (well, thats my nickname because my favourite number is pi=3.1415...). I grew up in a Christian family, I went to Church all the time, but I never realised what being Christian really meant until recently.

A year ago, if you met me, I would be a person who swears all the time, never follows God's Commands and basically rebel against God, but God has a special plan for me.

During a period of time, I felt really sad, it seemed like no one was my friend, people betrayed me. I was Depressed.

One Night, I was really sad, but then I felt a warm feeling, I felt God's Love, I felt his presence amongst me. From that day on everything Changed

I now understand what it means to be Christian, I understand that 'God has no Grandchildren' We are responsible for our own faith! Our parents faith will not affect us, we have to believe on God ourselves!

I really want to grow with God, so i decided to join this Forum

Hi Piman!

I'm Air and your story is interesting, to be honest my story is pretty much same as yours. I grew up in a Christian family, I believed God and I prayed every night but I never realised what being Christian really meant. Myself, I felt a warm feeling as well but after that it took me a long time to settle up, to give up alcohol and all other sinning. Now i'm a better changed person! ;) Welcome here!
