I recently left Christianity. I was born into it so as a child i didn't really have a choice and i believed everything my parents said. Now that i am in college i get to think for myself and i started to question my religion. I found no concrete evidence of a God, so after a few weeks of really thinking about it i found that i didn't really believe, but i am still open, so i would consider myself Agnostic.
This inst a choice, i know it sounds weird, but it is not my choice to be this way, i just cant put myself to truly believe. I want to believe, i really do, but this is something i have to convince myself of, i can't just start believing.
I have come here seeking God, but from what i have seen, i don't find it likely i will find him. After so many years i have asked God to show himself to me, and have not received an answer. I will probably post some questions to see how Christians would explain some of the questions im having.
So hopefully i will find some answers here. I have joined an Agnostic forum, and i will probably join an Atheist forum just so i can see all sides of the argument.
Another quick thing, does anyone have some good book suggestions, i would like to start reading Agnostic, Atheist, and Christian books so i can make a good, informed decision
