I am 20 years old, a wife, and a soon-to-be mom. I have been married for a little over a year to my wonderful husband and we are expecting our first little girl on Valentines day. I joined this forum to mainly connect with other believers. I guess you could say I am a born-again Christian. I say this because through my teens, I rejected the mainstream Christian status that is within the world but never God himself. I was very emotionally and mentally abused through my childhood. My mom would claim to be a Christian but would use the bible to attack me instead of teach me. If I was not perfect, I was a sinner. This is what caused me to reject the status of Christianity; however, I have always been a Christian within my heart.
My best friend just recently accepted God and that is what also inspired me to search for an online christian forum. God has truly blessed and protected me throughout my young years. I am now far away from my hurtful family and I have let go of people who were trying to bring me down in life. God has replaced those people with true friends that seek him.
I want to do more for Him and I want to understand who He really is. I look forward to chatting with you guys. May God bless you!
