I was raised in a non denominational church my whole entire life and lets just say that the last few years since high school have been anything but that. I have recently come back to studying the word and am trying to adapt and improve my lifestyle. I have studied all kinds of religious text from the Buddha to the book of Mormon and have read the bible in full over 2 times and I am working on my 3rd right now. I don't believe in a lot of traditional teachings of the bible and I find that a lot of people have a very vague understand of scripture. I make hip hop music in a home studio that I have built and I am trying to clean up my act musically as well. Just here to find a community to discuss the bible with.
 
Hi, welcome. :) I find this bunch fun. And sometimes we talk tunes too. :) What sort of style do you make? More like TobyMac or a bit more like Lacrae or ?
 
Hi there, good to see you. Here's verse from the Bible to think about: 'He that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.' (Hebrews 11.6). We need the Savior and so the Bible is the best place to look for Him. God bless His Word to you.

Glad you can be here. Bible study is a life long event, so though you may find people here that claim to know their Bibles really well, it's good to keep reading it to verify what people are saying. The doctrines the Bible gives us are spiritually discerned, so, there are a lot of room for misunderstandings. Plus, you have the challenge of writing your thoughts. That's much more difficult to do than having a conversation. I'll see you around the forum.

Thank you guys for the reply. And to answer the first question if I had to compare my music to any christian artist I would say Mars Ill.
