Hi Jesus'sGirl,
I was an elementary education major. Don't worry once you pass all your classes you will find teaching kids is mostly classroom management. Something your school didn't teach you much of at all :) I got lucky and had a woman who was a master at classroom management show me how it's done. Don't be too friendly before you start teaching. I made that mistake and they all thought I was their buddy and not their teacher when I started.
