high heels

well lol, my girlfriend really likes high heels because she says they make you look beautiful, but she's already beautiful, so beautiful, in fact i would prefer she just wore flip flops or something, i don't like high heels because they hurt her feet!! :{ i love her feet(i'm not like obsessed with feet or something, but it's a part of her), i don't want her to hurt them. that is the only problem i have with high heels, i'd prefer she didn't wear them.
is it really ok to hurt your feet just to make yourself feel beautiful down there? how should i talk to her about this? should i? i just don't feel like she should hurt her feet, it doesn't seem right to me and i wish she didn't.

thanks for everything

I would explain to her that you love her for her and that to you she is beautiful no matter how she dresses her feet.

HOWEVER, coming from a woman, high heels can be your best friend. I had to wear heels for work, and I came to hate them. But, when I no longer had to wear them, I began to love them again. A great pair of heels makes a woman feel sexy and beautiful. It's something that she can lavish on herself and something that she doesn't need someone else to do for her. She doesn't need anyone's validation except her own. Much is the same with a beautiful spring dress or a new set of bra and panties (sorry fellas). Even a new coat or a great pair of gloves or jeans. Something that fits just right makes a woman feel less like she needs to look or dress a certain way. Women are told that they have to look a certain way or dress a certain way to be beautiful... but when she can do that for herself, she can tune out the world. To me, nothing is better than a great pain of jeans paired with an adorable pair of heels.

I hope this helps.

Heather is so right. The smallest things that we ladies do make or break our day! If I put a t-shirt on, while it is VERY VERY comfortable, I just feel very "blah" all day long. It sounds weird, I know. lol

lol i think its so cute that your so concerned.

If she is wearing them ALL the time I could understand your concern. All you have to do is look at Victoria Beckahm (Posh Spice) that woman wears them all the time and has suffered the consequences for it. It can cause serious feet problems and not to mention can make your feet look really ugly (all the veins etc).

Also, if she wears them because she thinks she only looks beautiful when she wears heels...that needs to be addressed. I went through a period like that where I only felt I looked good in heels. Now, I pratically live in flat shoes.

Look up online pictures of women who've worn heels for years and years....and show her the pictures! It might gross her out enough to stop lol.

If she is constantly wearing them yet complains about being painful, they you should tell her (in a polite way) to either change shoes or quit complaining. I just don't get people who will constantly complain about something yet do noting to change the situation. I think in some people do it just to get attention.

but you have to sacrifice comfort for feeling purdy sometimes :P Honestly...I can't stand heels. One guy told me they did something for women's legs. Gals have told me they're addicted to heels and can't live without them. I'm all about the low heels to flats unless special occasion in which I'll prefer a *walkable heel* (I can't walk in spikes). Imagine cowboy boot heel for a low heel.
