Bible Study Higher Than The Angels?

[John 10:30-33 NLT] 30 The Father and I are one." 31 Once again the people picked up stones to kill him. 32 Jesus said, "At my Father's direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?" 33 They replied, "We're stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God."

They understood, they just did not believe.

Again, I believe Jesus is one with God but I don't believe that He caused creation since I believe that was the work of the Father. Then again, I have a really difficult time understanding the trinity so I just really decided to go with that belief. I just have always understood the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost to be a holy family and that they are a part of each other but that doesn't mean that they are each other. At least that's how I understand it anyways and if somebody can explain it any better and prove me wrong please feel free to do so.
