This decade is a wide time frame. Let's see...so like 2010 to now right (since it is almost officially 2020)?

-Graduated with an Associate's Degree

The Bad
-There were times that we were poor and couldn't afford food
-Got manipulated plenty by certain family members
-Got kicked out of a family members home over a food allergy
-Had to drop out of college on and off when it wasn't doable
-The passing of a couple family members
-Some adverse reactions to some medications.
-Withdrawals from weaning off of medication
The Ugly
-Tires got slashed on our car a few times
-Our brakes failed on our car (but we are okay, no accident, but it sure was scary!)
-I almost died
-I had 3 pints of blood transfused to me.
-We had an incident where a family member switched license plates on the car they let us drive and another one of their cars and we did not know. Husband almost was arrested for stealing a vehicle, which he didn't do. That family member lied straight to the police so they couldn't prove it, but we told them they needed to pay the fine, which they did, but they never admitted their fault. My husband had a hard time getting employed for 3-5 years for that fine.
-They didn't know I was in a house when the whole neighborhood was evacuated for a meth lab bust right next door to me. Yay me.
-Heard a man upstairs dragging his girlfriend (who had left her husband to be with this guy and have his child) kicking and screaming by her hair and said he was going to kill her and their baby was screaming. I have never been so terrified. Needless to say, the couple moved unexpectedly before social services arrived.
-A guy that illegally passed us on the road whom we honked the car horn at turned around and followed us to a coffee shop. I got out of the car, locked it behind me out of habit and the guy got out of his car and called me a bunch of names and I was scared, I was pregnant. My husband stepped and said nothing and the guy tried to start a fight, and my husband smiled and said, "Call the police," and the guy looked at the coffee shop line and people were recording with his smart phones and he booked it out of there. Later we found out he was arrested for assault on a police officer. Big surprise, right?
-Another guy that almost hit us we honked at and we parked and were about to go into a fast food restaurant and he parked, got out of his car, started yelling at us and telling us to get out of our car. People stared and he left. (Needless to say, my husband doesn't honk the horn much these days..there are some nut cases out there).
That is pretty much what comes to mind, but I am sure there is more. Things are a lot better now than they used to be. I am glad I don't have to be back in the past.
