But a wife has to be a saint to her children, of course.

Yes of course. :) But children WANT their parents to be saints. So it's easier to be a saint to them than to anybody else.
(Unless the children are pubescent teenagers. During those years mommy becomes an evil, annoying or embarassing creature. But later after the kids moved out she turns into a saint again.)
 
You are right. His mom is like a second god to him. He's so fond of the mother.

We are to honor our parents no matter what our age, married or single. If single that is one thing for her to be the #1 woman in your life. But if they're married its just not going to work and maybe they aren't really ready to be married until they can cut the apron strings. Those that don't agree, ask someone that has been there.
 
In America we have a "Mother's Day" each year. I wonder if someday we will have a "Wife's Day."
We already do. It's called "Anniversary" :) And if a guy forgets, then they sure won't forget any year after that! :lol
