Hitler Survived to the South Pole

That's not really a sensible response if someone knows the history of WW2.
Hitler was power hungry and a maglomaniac.an inbalenced person waa very much in charge of Germany unless you consider that hatred of jews and others to be most normal. He fed off the problems of the Weimer republic and the people .we all are capable of heinous crimes ,he set up.the chance to act out the deep resentment aND channeled it.

The flat Earth straight line would be New York to Paris to Rome
And you'd be flying over New Foundland
Funny. That's exactly the route.
But if you look at a globe, it also makes sense.

A globe is fat at the middle. So if a plane went straight from NY to Rome, it would be around a fat part of the globe.

If it flies north, New Foundland, near Iceland, and then back down to London, Paris...
It would be on the "narrower" part of the globe and thus cut down many miles.
From Paris to Rome it's just stright south, so no problem.

It's interesting how it would work out the same either way....

Why does any one care if he survived: he is dead now..
The USA has murdered more then he did
The threads not really about Hitler.
He's just the object of attention here.
The threads about digging into Lake Volstok, that has liquids under that ice that may present new life forms or old life forms on planet Earth.
It could be the beginning of something great.

Lake Vostok is under 5,150 psi of pressure. Perfect for pressure cooking food for those who don't own a pressure cooker.

Hitler was corrupt to the core. No doubt. But to think that the efforts undertaken by the German military and Hitlers regime was irrational and not much of anything they did made sense, is not evidence of cognizance of the history of WW2 itself.
It was more than one nut named Adolf. And it was an undertaking that succeeded in conquest and making an allied front in pursuit of the Reich plan to a point. Thank God they were defeated.

However, it is not reasonable to think or argue that the German war blueprint was irrational when considering the countries it achieved overcoming the defenses thereof in its quest.

It's not about abortion in America either.
I think this lake Volstok pursuit is fascinating.
Years ago I read a book that was supposedly the journal entries of Admiral Byrd to the South Pole. If it was all true it is fascinating stuff.
I think there was something recently about findings in either the south or maybe it was the north pole. Tiny blue humanoid like life forms .but I'll have to check with the friend who mentioned they'd heard this reported on a late night radio program dedicated to unconventional life forms and flying objects.

Im a ww2 buff,I have family members who have phycosis.ww2 invasion of Normandy wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for my area.the seals stated in ft pierce, the black sheep trained here ,

Just because a person is irrational doesn't mean he or she can't plan ,and plot .no one implies Hitler was of a low iq or unable to think.

Irrational in context implies inbalenced aND prone to anger.even his best general who refused to. Kill captured jews saw that Hitler was mad aND would ruin Germany. We Call that General Irwin Rommel.

Not that stalin was any better just able to be reasoned with aND at the time a lesser evil

Are you also a civil war buff? I know some folks that enjoy studying war histories. One is an actor in Virginia where they recreate some of the historic battles there.

Not as much ,there's much history of ww2,ww1 to a degree here aND the county history, brevard has the civil war as a back drop

OK, thank you. :)
He asks a history buff.I'm always finding history to photo locally.

Let's see ,the old train station. This is about 100 years old .I forget the exact date it was built ,before this it was a flag stop as was Oslo which has a marker for it

Yeah, they have a picture of this hanging down at the South Pole.

But to think that the efforts undertaken by the German military...

Oh the general staff was quite talented. The invasion of France was planned by armor expert Erich von Manstein, and succeeded in quickly defeating France. If Hitler had let his generals plan the entire war, they might have won. However, Hitler later took personal command of war planning, and it was a disaster. He just didn't think clearly.
