Holy Spirit told me to avoid meat and warn others

Isa13

Member
So it must be important. :pray
It is probably a very good idea for everyone who wants to go to heaven this life to stop eating meat and tell others to as well.

I would probably not be ready to go to heaven if i still ate meat. Have hated myself for it. So telling others is a way to heal and give something back to those who died for me. :pray

I talk to people in the spiritual world and they would never ever want to kill an animal.
Our compassion for everyone grows much much stronger when we go higher so to speak. As they said: "We just want to love" 😍

So i believe it is possible that killing animals can slow down our spiritual journey to heaven because of all the negative emotions that may reach the surface.

It can perhaps be very traumatic as our compassion and understanding expands as it does in heaven. So eating meat is an unnecessary big risk.

Can only guess why it is important though.
All i know is that Holy Spirit has been telling me this many times.

I remember you from a different set of Christian forums.

As I told you there, I'm not sure that you're hearing from the Holy Spirit as God allows us to eat meat. Jesus being God incarnate ate meat.

There is also the fact that if we were meant to be vegans, there would be no need for supplements as being vegan would give you everything that your body needs and it doesn't.

Here is what the Holy Spirit says —

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving;
1 Timothy 4:1-3

  • commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving;

Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. Romans 14:1-2

On the other Christian forum that this person was on where they posted this, they claimed that the person spoke to them in human form and now they speak to them via email, text, etc...

Using them as I don't know if they're male or female.

You claim the holy spirit spoke to you, yet provide no information how your church/minister etc verified the message.
Then you imply that there is more than one life!
That is a false idea we live then we die and face judgement for heaven or hell, there is no reincarnation etc etc.
You don't like eating meat and so get a self fulfilling message ' don't eat meat!'
I would find you believable if it was the other way round.

If you were familiar with scripture you would know that prophetic messages are always contrary to what the prophet wanted.

I know it´s from God but i don´t expect to convince many.
Vegetarians don´t need supplements. Not that it´s a big issue if the alternative is killing innocent beings.

Jesus did probably not eat meat.

Isa13, I think it would be wise to follow John's advice.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God;
1 John 4:1 NKJV

What you are saying seems to be in direct contradiction to what God told Peter as recorded in Acts 10:9-16 NKJV.

The next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray. And he became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while they were preparing it, he fell into a trance and saw the heavens opened and something like a great sheet descending, being let down by its four corners upon the earth. In it were all kinds of animals and reptiles and birds of the air. And there came a voice to him: “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.” And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common.” This happened three times, and the thing was taken up at once to heaven.

Also contradicting what God told Noah in Genesis 9:2-3 NKJV

The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.

Jesus ate the flesh of fish.

And while they still disbelieved for joy and were marveling, he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate before them.

The context according to some sources.

"At Jewish Veg, we stand on very solid theological ground when we say that meat-eating is frowned upon by God, according to the Torah.

Let’s look directly at Genesis 9:3, the verse that Jews have cited countless times over the millennia to justify the eating of meat.

Yes, Genesis 9:3 does quote God as saying, “Every creature that lives shall be yours to eat.”

But when you look at the verse in its context, it is clear that God is only grudgingly giving humans this permission.

Consider, first of all, that the granting of this permission occurred immediately after The Flood, immediately after human beings had sunk to such a low point of immorality that God deemed it necessary to eradicate life and start over."

--------------

"Let me first tell you what it does not say. It does not say that we can KILL or SLAUGHTER animals in order to sacrifice them to God or to eat their flesh. The word “animal” does not even appear in the Hebrew text, although the Good News Bible and some other translations use it in order to mislead you. The text does not say that you must not eat simply “blood” – as vast majority of Jews and Christians would want you to believe. So what does the text actually say? God here reverses the status between all animals and humans. Just before the Flood, animals became corrupt and wild and killed one another and they also killed and devoured human beings. So God now reversed the status to its original condition. He again subjected all living creatures to the dominion of man. This of course in no way means that this dominion of man gives him the right to kill, slaughter and butcher animals in order to gratify his lust after meat."

Why would i ask a human being that might be corrupt and controlled by evil? Evil has been allowed to have control for a while. I just trust my spiritual contacts.

There are other opinions about Acts 10.

I can not say i know the truth about the Bible. Only what SPIRIT says.

"For hundreds of years Christians have interpreted Peter's vision as God's permission to kill and eat any animal, which it is not. It is a vision to let Peter know that he and other Jewish-Christians were permitted to enter the homes of the Gentiles to bring them the Good News of Jesus Christ."

Luke 24:41-43 NKJV

Probably forgery. Perhaps to make Jesus look bad.

"Luke therefore clearly places Jesus’ first appearance to his disciples on Sunday evening AT JERUSALEM. He says that ALL ELEVEN WERE PRESENT - even though John, who also says that Jesus appeared to his disciples at evening on the “first day of the week” actually says that Thomas was missing.

Matthew and Mark however clearly show that Jesus was not in Jerusalem on Sunday evening but was rather in Galilee and therefore he could not have appeared to his disciples in Jerusalem that Sunday evening and he could not have been eating fish that evening. On the night of his arrest, Jesus is quoted by Mark as saying:

“But after I’m raised to life, I’ll go ahead of you to GALILEE” [Mark 14:28].
The angel said to the women at the tomb on Sunday morning:

“Now go and tell his disciples, and especially Peter, that he will go ahead of you to GALILEE. YOU WILL SEE HIM THERE, JUST AS HE TOLD YOU” [Mark 16:7]."

Why would i ask a human being that might be corrupt and controlled by evil? Evil has been allowed to have control for a while. I just trust my spiritual contacts.
One reason and one reason only. We are told to Test every message that comes from a spiritual being.

You have not tested either the message or the messenger and so are most likely to be listening to a demon.

The Bible does not tell us to stop eating meat, so your message is false.

Do you agree that evil has been allowed temporary control?

They ate fish.
Luke 9:10-17
When the apostles returned, they reported to Jesus what they had done. Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida, 11 but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.

12 Late in the afternoon the Twelve came to him and said, “Send the crowd away so they can go to the surrounding villages and countryside and find food and lodging, because we are in a remote place here.”

13 He replied, “You give them something to eat.”

They answered, “We have only five loaves of bread and two fish—unless we go and buy food for all this crowd.” 14 (About five thousand men were there.)

But he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.” 15 The disciples did so, and everyone sat down. 16 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. 17 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

But food will not commend us to God, we are neither the worse if we do not eat, nor the better if we do eat.
