Hot again

It's in the 90's again today.
Humidity is in the 80's.
I hate to open the front door.
I go to the store and all I want to do is lie down in bed after I get home.
It's air conditioned or else I would probably die.
It makes me think of the very end.
Hot days, stinging insects, dry, blistery mouth, people screaming in pain and no where to go for help.
Bombs falling, bitter water, no money is enough to buy food, it's awful.
Is it like that where you live?
Or is it just here in sunny Florida?

I like where i live because its never too hot or too cold like some places freeze in winter and boil in summer or like hot days and freezing nights. I mean about 75 is the average in summer here and about 60 average in the winter.

Its winter now and this weeks high and low is about 70 and 50.

Here in North Alabama , humidity about the same but temps are low 80's . AC was very needful today .

Once when we were in Pensacola FL and got out and about at sunrise it the summer time , OH WOW ! It was a special kind of humid unlike anything I had experienced before . Except maybe in the eye of a typhoon . Florida seems to have cornered the market on humidity .

88 and humid here in beautiful South Carolina. Three ceiling fans and air-conditioning. Don't want to go outside, ugh!!!

Right now we're going through that super awesome fantastic heat wave ugh.

It's been like 104F - 109F last week and this week. We're going to hopefully see some relief starting Monday at 98F. At least it's not 120F+ like some parts of the state - I don't miss that heat (it's a literal nightmare - I don't know how people do that every summer)!

When we lived in the super hot big city, there were people that were in their homes with no AC because they couldn't afford it and it's like 110F+ out. People die of heat exhaustion every year up there. It's a scary thing. Our AC broke like 2-3 times in one summer at the apartment we were at. They had to find some AC guy that was willing to come out and fix it, but most of them preferred to come out at night/early early morning so we had to wait a little and it was so hot...I am glad they got it fixed. The cement and asphalt would literally melt your shoes - you could smell the rubber on shoes melting. My shoes from then only took one summer to turn from treads on the bottom to flat. The condenser on our car could not keep up with the heat - it would never get cold. We were told there was nothing wrong with our AC, it just couldn't keep up with the heat in our little car. Car maintenance up there is insane with the heat (why many people up there have garages or shaded parking)- the tires wear down fast, the AC has a hard time, the battery doesn't seem to last like it should, etc. etc.

I'm glad we moved away from that. I don't think that place should even be considered habitable...that heat is so dangerous.

It has been bringing in some storm clouds some days so that has been nice. Hoping for an early monsoon season.
