I believe Christians cannot look the way they want, but the way God wants them to.
I will mention Bible verses to prove this.
You need to keep the law of God to be saved, see here.

Male Christian
  • a full beard
  • no bald head,
  • do not shorten the sides of the hair on the head or beard
  • no long hair
  • no tattoos
  • only decent clothes
  • men's clothing only
Female Christian
  • no beard
  • no bald head
  • long hair
  • no tattoos
  • only decent clothes
  • women's clothing only
  • she must cover herself
  • no tight clothing
  • no nudity
Sources: Leviticus 19:27, 21:5; Deuteronomy 22:5; 1Corinthians 11:14-15

Of course, there can be natural exceptions. For example, someone cannot have a beard or hair on his head. Such a person is excused.

While a handful of those things might be true, that is legalism. And to say that one must do those things in order to be saved is anti-gospel.

so you are saying that people who do not listen to the Word of God can be saved?
so you are saying that if God tells someone to do this, and he doesn't want to do this, he can still be saved?
so you are saying that God's words aren't to be taken serious?

AM I THE ONE WHO GAVE THESE COMMANDMENTS?
I am just quoting the Word of God.
GOD SAID: DO THIS
And everyone is obliged to do this.
If someone does NOT want to do this, he will surely go to hell.
LISTEN TO THE WORD OF GOD
AND OBEY
OBEY
OBEY
is it so hard to obey God's voice?
You people, you people, tell me why?
Please, let me not weep, just keep the law of God.

No, which I have made clear in the other discussion.

so you are saying that if God tells someone to do this, and he doesn't want to do this, he can still be saved?
You first have to show that it is relevant for Christians and not Jews only.

so you are saying that God's words aren't to be taken serious?
Never.

AM I THE ONE WHO GAVE THESE COMMANDMENTS?
I am just quoting the Word of God.

You made statements. I don't see any verses giving commandments with commentary showing that you have accurately understood those verses.

I am kind of surprised that this list contains so many things, but fails to mention the thing that is actually explicit, gluttony to the point where it is obvious to everyone. Everyone has their own struggles and journey to walk on, and its not our place to judge others. But some sin is easier to conceal than others I guess.

If you have truly been serious about all of this law keeping, I suspect you must be suffering beyond explanation as you realize how vile you, we all, truly are. If you are not distraught as a result of your inability to fulfill the law, then you are not being honest with yourself.

Jesus has fulfilled the law for us and all who believe and trust (have faith) in Him can have eternal life. That is the promise from Jesus himself as recorded in John 3:14-18. God sent His son that whoever believes in Him shall have eternal life. He didn't send His son to condemn the world but that the world through Him, might be saved. Not through the law for the law condemns us. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Check out John 10:7-30. He is the Good Shepherd that gave His life for His sheep. His sheep know Him and know His voice and follow Him and He gives them eternal life.

Are you in the fold of His sheep?

No you are very selective in the verse you quote, ignoring the context inorder that you can create a pretext for confusing and misleading the gullible.

You are saying that to be saved one Must obey the Law, ignoring Jesus's words that teach salvation is by faith.
Please read Ephesians 2 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Note verse 5. God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ, when we were dead in our sins.
How do the dead come to life, certainly not by obeying laws.

Note verse 8.saved by grace, through faith, by a gift from God.
Do you know why, verse 10 tells us so we can do good works.

Here's a question for you.
Why does Jesus say that the laws will remain until they are fulfilled?

I believe God is more concerned with the state of people hearts. Not how they look.

The laws in leviticus are for the purpose of keeping the ancient jews ceremonially clean so that they could enter the temple and offer their sacrifices.

Man burning in hell: "This is unbearable! The flames! The heat! Oh, why didn't I just do it????"
Other man in hell: "Do what??"
Man burning in hell: "Grow a beard! I didn't do it and now God has cast me into hell as a result!! AAAH!!"

Agreed.

The Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7 NKJV

Here, Peter was addressing women but I believe this holds true for men as well.
Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
1 Peter 3:3-4 NKJV

To all those who think that all the laws have been fulfilled in Christ you are very wrong as below are the laws that are written upon our heart and can only be fulfilled when Christ returns and makes an end to sin by throwing it into the lake of fire with that of the beast and the false prophets. The only laws that Christ has fulfilled so far are that of the Temple and its sacrifices. Someone please show me in scripture where Jesus has fulfilled all the laws, because in Matthew 22:35-40 and Matthew 5:17, 18 Jesus does not say that he has already fulfilled all of them, but that love was the greatest of them all.

There are laws (commandments) of God that were especially written just for the Hebrews pertaining to the rituals of the Temple, sacrifices, festivals, Torah, Kohanim and Levites, the King and the Nazarite. Then there are the existing moral laws (commandments) for all of us to still follow as in prayers and blessings, love and brotherhood. The poor and unfortunate, treatment of the Gentiles, Marriage, divorce and family. Forbidden sexual relations, business practices, employees and servants. Vows, oaths, swearing, Court and Judicial procedures. Injuries and damages, property and property rights, criminal laws. Prophecy, idolatry and all its practices as the moral laws (commandments) keep us in line with the will of God.

We need to present ourselves a vessel of honor that God delights in as we allow the light of Christ shine in us and through us. This is a testimony of Gods grace and mercy as it is not ourselves that do any good thing, but Gods Spirit working in us and through us as we surrender our will to that of Gods will to be done.

Morality in God is His greatest commandment of love as we treat others as we want others to treat us. God is love and wants us to love and treat others as He loves and treats us.

Matthew 22:
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain". (Galatians 2:21)
