The internet has no borders and development would be unthinkable without it. How can you help us build a safer internet for all?[/size]
I dont think it needs to be safer....parent s and ppl in general need to step up and take an intetest in what kids&loved ones are doing and talking too....safety starts at home......
hiii
the question is a bit generalized. internet as in the web people browse on,or internet as in technology based (developments)
It starts with the education at home.
Watch out what you click! 99% if viruses comes from human errors! ;-)
#ProTip
Safety starts with prevention... prevention starts with learning and attention... If we have learned and pay attention on our safety, lets start by providing learning and attention to those in weaker positions!
Teach children Internet common sense. The virtual world has as many if not more dangers.
one would be for you not to post stupid comments like the one you did earlier . That just stirs trouble . Just list children are displaced and leave the political CRAP to the politicians !!
Lets Focus on our children with disability N give them what they deserve, I think that is the best purpose so far, thanks Unicef
abandone kids and teens to go to such a harmful website, like some too violent games.
I think we have to raise the public awareness
easy to say but difficult to do, just raise awareness
Over the past 15 years the internet has gone from a self policed, safer to a degree, entity (i.e. like anything, you want it, you can find it) into an expanding, swiftly moving body of content.
The Internet is a top level phrase, covering the technology, users, writers, coding languages and software used to make it what it is.
You cannot educate everyone, no matter how much you want to, therefore developers and organisations need to take a more considered approach to what is out there. I remember the times when you couldn't sign up to chatboards without date of birth and credit verification. It was eventually blocked by the government. Now adult and alternative material is more freely, voyeuristically available to our children. Adults join"child"websites, and it's got easier to infiltrate parts of the web. Thus, the parents need help, education is only 1 step.
When a company designs a social networking site, to share"gossip"anonymously about children, something needs to be looked at.
That isn't the parents realm of control, that is the responsibility of the website owners to understand the psychological and emotional consequences of providing that environment for people. Cyberbullying is at its highest.
I guess, what I'm trying to say is that we cannot make parents the sole owners in the responsibility for policing the internet. However, draconian blocking and content control threatens our freedom of speech. There needs to be an open, frank and realistic discussion, not a dictatorship of a government telling users what's good for them.
it easy start from not unsafe other #+91****855
We all need to educate, through social networks especially parents, then the rest of Internet users, to choose the sites they visit, it's a bit like a supermarket, we buy only useful products !
The people who contribute and surf the net are the same people who make up much of the rest of our world today. The do's and don'ts are very similar - in a nutshell so to speak.
BY STOPING SOPA, now!!!
one would be for you not to post stupid comments like the one you did earlier . That just stirs trouble . Just list children are displaced and leave the political CRAP to the politicians !!
Make IT safe for children! Educate ppl on internet safety and promote responsible online behaviour (including mobile and other related tech). Monitor, regulate and respond (including actions against cyber criminals).
so simple ::: destroy internet and sue en masse bill gates et al for corrupting the world.
re-build our former comunication systems....the spoken languages
pls explain the moral values to the children, then automatically everything will be positive..
raise awareness
that....I CANT ANSWER.....lol
Simple but impossible, be decent to the people you meet, both in person and when you hide yourself behind a screen.
Begging the richest one to contribute some they have
etcI love those answers here. ppl take this question very serious. its hard to answer. I think you have to make computers even more intelligent (artificially) so that they can figure out on their own which kind of person is sitting in front of them.
