How Do Hackers Hack Into Accounts?

Yes, apps are a main source of malware that infects your phone. For this reason, I don't download apps that have unknown developer addresses or if they are from places like China, Russia, or India. Also Google has been blames for spying and recording without being told, "Hey, Google..." Alexa has been another scary one, it records and stores and people at Amazon are listening to them. Social media, Facebook in particular, has been accused of some hefty stuff, too. Not sure how they are still around. Gotta take great care with tech.

There is a lot of phishing that does on.

Let's say your bank name is Bank1s. You get an email from BankIs asking you to verify your account and they give you a link.

The email uses the Bank1s logo and it looks exactly like emails your used to seeing, so you click the link and try to log in with your bank id and pw.

And bam, you just gave the bad guy your log in info.

Also, add a prefix of suffix to any secret questions.
Example, your favourite pet is rover.
Question: what is the name of your favorite pet
Answer: rover123
Question: what is your mothers maiden name:
Answer:Smith123

Make sure your suffer or prefix is something only you know.

Also you should never fall for those robocalls that ask for your personal information and threaten arrest if you don't give it to them, because police have confirmed that they never issue out arrests over the phone. :nono
