How Do i Do "avatar"

I donot want to introduce myself naked, so would someone please tell me how to do an avater of my own (from my computer) . . . thank you

Hi Shylock and welcome!

Once you are logged in, you'll see "Notifications" in the upper right hand side of the board. Click there, then go into your "Inbox".

Once you are in your inbox, look to the left side of your screen and you'll see where to add your Avatar

Now get some cloths on!

. . . when i go to "Edit Avatar" this is what i get:
[Your Current Avatar

No Avatar Specified
Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.]


and this willnot do, as this fig leaf is quite old and i have gained at least 50 lbs since then . . . probably all hot air . . .

I see something up side of this post that says "Insert picture", so iwill use that for now and see if it covers all.
