How do you determine the speed of the RAM in a computer?

A co-worker has an old computer with either PC 100 or PC 133 RAM. How can you determine the type of RAM in a computer?

There are three possible ways.

1. Look in BIOS
2. Read the post screen as the computer boots up. (usually you can press the pause/break key to stop the screen so you can read it)
3. Check hardware in "System" in control panel.

oh, there is one more way. Dxdiag (Direct X Diagnostic)

Click Start
Click Run
type - dxdiag - in the run box
then click OK or press the Enter key

This will give the a screen with many tabs along the top. The first tab displayes is General, which should list the type of ram.
