it means the church as a whole.we are married to him when we become saved. its symbolic from the idea that isreal was the bride of the lord as well. God divorced isreal and went to the gentiles.Not that god is done with the jews just that he went to the gentiles to provoke the jews with jealousy.
this is more of theology topic then an i need a mate type.

that concept doesnt support that at all.paul the apostle died not being married. he was either a widower(some believe this) or single(i take this view). either way he is in heaven.

to be honest. i love my wife but if i knew now what i didnt knew then. i would have waited way longer as she wasnt a christian.but i made the vows and i wanted to leave and god kept me in this marriage. pot isnt a reason to divorce as he pointed out my sin(porn) and he took both from us.
or i wouldnt have married her. it hurts me to say that but bi-polar disorder isnt something that should be so easily ignored if you arent married. i dont suggest people marry someone because they are lonely or are in love without seeing if bi-polar or what not is doable for them(they can handle it as the spouse has it).if they can more power to them, but if i am widowed or it does fail , i aint getting married again unless its been a long time and i cant containt the urges to have sex. and god can control that. trust me. i leaning on that right now as my wife is away and well i have the desires.

Well for one, God spoke to me about being called to married life. To some, we are to marry. To others, they are to remain single. The key is having a heart open to listening to His calling for our lives.
