Yup. There are actually websites about me. Just type in Heidi Carico and see what you find. I was the subject of conversation on Fundies for months last year. I guess we must hit a nerve, Johmuise. ;-) The website entitled "Carico in big bold letters is an obscene made-up story of my lif. But since atheists are proud of telling lies, then they destroy their own credibility. So I've lost nothing from their websites because they're so obscene, people know they're lies. But what do you expect from an atheist? ;-)

Yup. But again, they destroy their own credibility because their remarks are so biased, they don't sound rational. So people can see who they are because it all falls back on them, particularly on judgment day. As Jesus says, we are blessed for being persecuted for telling the truth. I'm glad to meet someone who's not afraid to tell the truth and be persecuted for it. Believe me, such Christians are rare in today's society.

Yup. I've been an apologist for many years and have seen it all. When Jesus said that few will find the narrow road, he meant few. He also said "If you belong to the world the world would love you as its own. As it is, your do not belong to the world. For I have chosen you out of the world and that's why the world hates you." "If they obeyed my teaching, they'll obey yours." Atheists sure prove him right!!! So we can't expect to be treated any better than our master because we're certainly not better people than he is!

No it is not. I believe this very thing - that God is "behind" the creation of the world that we see before us.

Instead, I see the damage that Heidi and JohnMuise as this: they use terrible, and I mean embarassingly terrible, arguments to support this position. Guys, it is not OK to cast dis-repute on our Saviour by almost revelling in such blatantly incorrect reasoning and arguments.

You are not doing a "job" that promotes the gospel, you are embarrassing the gospel. Please, I beseech you, consider the possibility that arguing badly, as you do, for a position that is in some sense true - that God is a creative force in the world - does the cause of the Gospel no service at all. It only contributes to the caricature of Christians as simpletons.

I am reminded of the line "just because no one understands you, this does not make you an artist". In other words, just because you are ridiculed (e.g. on fstdt.com) does not mean that your behaviour falls under this:

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me

Sometimes, to be frank, spokespersons for the faith are ridiculed because their arguments and reasoning deserves to be ridiculed.

Sorry, Drew, but God told us how he created the world and human beings. You obviously do not believe God even though you claim to be a Christian. So chastizing other Christians for believing exactly what the bible says is absolutely ludicrous and completely unwarranted. You'd obviously prefer that we make up our own stories about creation that agree with the secular world which is run by Satan. : Sorry, but true Christians won't do that. :wink:
