Is it a malicious evil spirit possessed thing that is calculated? Or is it that they may have been a real Prophet of God for a period of time, then prophecy of God stopped or paused and people keep expecting a word so that start making stuff up?

good question if i was to guess a little bit of both

Anyone who speaks a scriptual lie is a false prophet even if its not intentional.

One thing most, false teachers, have in common is personal revelation.. Ignoring the Written Word as the authoritative Word of God

Tweaking the Word that subtil way as satan did in the Garden

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
IMO these verses show clearly God and His Word are one in the same.

I have watched some films about false prophet, these are the people who tell everyone that they are the descendants of God.

There are many reasons (ignorance, denial, religious schizophrenia, narcissism, psychopathology) to name several possibilities. False prophets, and those that follow them, have one common trait, fear of not believing. IMHOpinion.
Fear is the root of all evil. Evil feeds of the fear of others. It can be contagious and spread to mass hysteria, even war, mass cult suicides, etc.

Unconditional love is the light which shines the way to Truth. Without it, one will have difficulty discerning the truth spoken to Christians, from Christ, via their Holy Spirit _ the Spirit of Truth. IMHExperience.

Personally, if the prophesy contains fear, I smell a rat.

I think most of them just patiently wait for someone on a forum to label them as such. Given enough time, you can be sure it will come. People in the old days even labeled Jesus a False Prophet.

Exactly. It will always agree with scripture. There are those on these boards that do it in a calculated way. Couching lies within truth so they sound convincing. Wolves in sheep's clothing. The best thing to do is to pray for these people. Because we do not wrestle with flesh and blood but with principalities and powers. Dark evil in higher realms. So the best thing we can do is to pray for them to be delivered because this is loving your brother as yourself. And THAT is the 2nd greatest commandment.

I have no idea.
I am not a prophet.

But prophets of the Old Testament were different than fortune tellers.

Some told the future. Most preached. Some, like John the Baptist, told truth... even though the truth was hidden.

Joel was just a working stiff. A regular guy. But his Prophecy is scripture. Never said another word of relevance.

Others had similar roles... even women were prophets during wicked days.

Elijah and Elisha apparently had a whole school of them. (Obadiah kept them fed)

Apparently the lifespan and lifestyle of being a true prophet wasn't the greatest. The negatives definitely outweighed the positives on an earthly level. More than sufficient inducements to make an apprentice prophet to do the Wrong thing. Just ask Gehazi. He had a major meltdown despite his witnessing of miracles.

For me it is clear no one person is ever considered a false prophet until they attempt the following found in Deuteronomy13.
1. One who has "spoken to turn you away from Yehovah"
2. When the things predicted "follow not, nor come to pass"
3. Or one who suggests the worship of a strange god, even temporarily, or the permanent suppression of any precept embodied in that law.
