how long did it take you to finish the bible and understand it?

I don't know if it is possible in this life to fully comprehend the Bible. Every time I read through it or listen to it audibly, I learn something new that I didn't notice before. God let's us understand what He needs for us to understand when we need to understand it.
 
We could read the Bible a thousand times and still will never exhaust all the teachings the Holy Spirit wants to teach us.
