Timely Word 4 Today:-

Now is the Day of Salvation
We then, as workers together with Him also plead
with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
For He says:
"In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you."
Behold, NOW is the accepted time;
Behold, NOW is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:1,2 NKJV

Since we have NOW been justified by his blood,
how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath
through him!
For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled
to him through the death of his Son, how much more,
having been reconciled, shall we be saved through
his life!
Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through
our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now
received reconciliation.

Last Days? Meditation 7/29 - 8/04 ESV
Last Days?
Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot--they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all-- so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back. Remember Lot's wife. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it.

In Liverpool & Southport pedestrian precincts on Tues, I called out what I'm en route to repeat in Chester's today:-
"What a huge difference from the weeks of miserable rain to the fantastic sunshine!
Like the huge difference from drab, dull, ordinary TV to the fantastic, freeview 12 Christian channels - Sky 760 to 772!
Step into the sunshine of God's love on those fantastic, freeview 12 Christian channels - Sky 760 to 772!!"
