Growth How Righteous are you?

That is what I have been trying to explain to you. I have never met someone who just has some gift of healing empowered constantly by the Holy Spirit.
Gifts of healing? I don't know,

Yes the "gift of Healing" is one of the 9 spiritual "sign" gifts that a lot of a certain type of Christianity ( people) chase.
There is a lot of confusion about these gifts, and most of it is just a simple wrong dividing of the word.
For example....take the "gift of Tongues".......vs...."my prayer language, or as Paul said, i speak with the tongues of Angels"..
But you see,, because a certain type of Christian is obsessed with tongues, signs, and healing, they are not interested to know that they have been taught a fallacy, an error, or even perhaps a lie, about the "gift of tongues", which is an authentic spiritual gift, that which Peter said he heard as foreign languages in Acts 2, VS, a prayer language "subsequent to the infilling", as the pentecostal types will define it, that is not a foreign language.
And, so.... the confusion arises when a certain group does not teach the TRUTH regarding the distinction between a "prayer language" and the "gift of tongues".
But thats fodder for another Thread if someone wants to talk about it.

There are far too many Christians who have been born again but truly do not clearly know their position in Christ. By His grace and solely on the merits of Christ's finished work of redemption [His death, burial and resurrection, as well as the shedding of His blood (which is distinct from His death)] God has made us AS RIGHTEOUS AS CHRIST. Believe it.

Not only has God declared us righteous (justified) but He has placed upon us the "robe" of Christ's righteousness (which is imputed), and washed us in His blood, and sanctified us with the gift of the Holy Spirit. God sees us AS PERFECT AS HIMSELF, but it is always in and through Christ. And if this were not true, not one of us could enter Heaven.

Righteousness mean "sinless perfection".
This is the "state" of God.......sinless perfection, and this is what he gives us thru the cleansing Blood of Jesus.
He literally gives us the "righteousness of Christ" as our eternal "standing" or "position" in his eternal family, and we never have to work a day for this "gift".
You cant be a Son of God, unless you are as sinless as Christ, and you cant be as sinless as Christ once you have sinned.
"for all have sinned and fallen short"..
So, that ends the game for the "works" crowd who are "enduring to the end" and all that nonsense to BE saved or to STAY saved.
"Saved" means "sinless perfection" or you are not saved, that that is the "gift of God and not of yourself".

And all this is based on what scripture ?

Tongues is for all believers.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; Mark 16:17

Tongues and interpretation is for public ministry.

4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. 5 I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for[a] he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.
1 Corinthians 14:4-5

Speaking in tongues and praying in tongues are two different operations.

I believe we, the Church has much to learn about this operation.

While this is off-topic, if tongues were for all believers we would not have the Scripture which asks "Do all speak in tongues?" (1 Cor 12:30). Furthermore, without an interpreter, no tongues must be spoken (1 Cor 14:28). But this is a digression. Perhaps a separate thread on Tongues would be beneficial.
