How Should You Dress for Worship Services?

Ha, what a hoot reba and wondering lol!
Personally, I don't worry about what others wear too much. For myself, my work is business casual which means I wear nice jeans, decent shoes and a button up shirt with a collar. I don't wear anything less than that on Sunday morning. Evening is whatever including dirty torn jeans if I've been working on a project ect.. except a tank top. I won't wear a tank top

I had a great job once,I wore a green,brown,black mix on a uniform with paid sick days aND 30 days per yr of vacation. I wish I stayed with that job.oh no this pfc had to get out.
 
I have not got a car so I ride my road bike to get around. I sometimes ride 20-35 miles to get to fellowship. I cannot do that in ordinary clothes without chafing; so I have to wear padded Lycra shorts. In other words, I turn up in my riding gear. I am sure the LORD does not mind.

For the sake of discussion... Were the disciples specially dressed while in His company? Maybe not fair, bc they didn't pack a wardrobe, but do you think they were aware of what they wore? How about those who approached Him with the awareness that He was at least highly significant. Do you think they were concerned? We know the pharisees were, although I'm not sure this was of any value to Him. (I'm not comparing you to a pharisee.)

I wore a suit every Sunday hen I was first saved, I was uncomfortable in Worship. As I grew in the Faith, I relaxed and when I learned of the relationship I was seeking to solidify, I became much more confident and if we examine the Ministry of our LORD I find Jesus dressing in the same manor as those He ministered to. So it is that today I wear Slacks and a colored dress shirt and I keep my mind off of what Joe and Jane Doe wear. The exceptions are when she wears a postage stamp skirt or a dress that, surely, has no more than a single yard of fabric and what they call their Dress leaves nothing to imagine. I wonder what their Sunday best so-to-speak was for everyday fishermen and such? If I knew the president of the United States was stopping by for a visit, I think I would want to dress for the occasion. How much more value or importance does Christ have than our president (any president) have? I feel it is important to get cleaned up and presentable out of respect, honor, and reverence.

What is the message given by those that dress like their going out looking to attract others in a nightclub? How about those that don't take the time to at least try to be presentable when they can? For some of course, their best may not be at the same par as others and those are not the ones I speak of.
