I have been using my duster, but when we moved I have a lot of smudges on the screen.

And it says not to use any wet stuff.....

plus the key board is dusty all the time.......... with 8 children in and out of the house .

dirt and dust all over .......... Help please ............. Thanks :)

You can use alcohol wipes on the screen and keyboard. If you have any concerns about shorting anything out you can always unplug the device and reconnect it when you are sure it is dry.

There are cleaners available specifically designed for cleaning monitor screens.

I realize this is not what you speak of, that has been answered, so, The one invisible thing that murders computers is collected moisture. It is collected because your unit uses fans to circulate the air in or out and almost no one, young or older knows about Spring Cleaning and computers.

Dry air is sold at Wally world (WalMart) and you need a can of air, I usually pick up two cans because when the Propellant freezes it is a long time before it thaws and is useful once more. Then, in the case of my Lap Top I screw the Bottom back on and trust it "til the next year. For my Desk Top I remove the two to four screws from the Right side, as you look at the front, andblow the dust out of it. All that dust collects moisture out of the air, forming a bridge, a short, between a hot or Positive leg and a Negative point on the Circuit Board or/and the components on the board causing an Active short, killing the Unit.

Hope you get the muck off the screen.
