How to help my son

My youngest is in preschool and my eldest is in grade school. He's been coming home lately quoting things I have never heard of. They seem innocent enough but how can I reinforce our Christian faith when he is surrounded by non Christians most of the day? Can anyone recommend any good, age appropriate Christian media I can have him watch or read? I'm trying to get him in to the Chronicles of Narnia (LOVED those books growing up) but he doesn't seem interested.

I'll guess that one of the problems, is the sweetness-and-gutless "Christian faith" which is the current fad. The schools are feeding all sorts of evil, and we have to encourage the young to know the evil for what it is, with appropriate anger as well as sadness and frustration to match, or we help the deceivers take them in. If we do not live teach appropriate anger, appropriate sadness, and appropriate frustration, we do great harm, because they will think we are sending them to people we trust more than ourselves to teach them the truth.

Do not discount the power of parental guidance. It has been shown over and over again that parents have much more influence over their children than one might think and there are times when you will doubt this. Yes, they will challenge that influence and maybe even rebel at times but never give up on leading them to Jesus. They need to see His light shining from you always.

One thing that is also true. We cannot force anyone to believe anything. All we can do is bear good fruit and teach them about the promises of God and let the Holy Spirit do the rest.

Read up on it and discuss it with your son. If need be ask him questions from those arguments, asking him to explain.
For simpler articles try answersingenesis or creation.com, they both have many biblical based scientific articles.

Narnia may be more harmful than good, in the present, and in the future.
