"Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:29-31)

Lord help me to remember that I am valued in your eyes. No matter what the world and the devil have told me, you value me. You value me so much that you have the hairs on my head counted. Amen

Thank you Lord. I will not fear the man that can kill my body but I will fear You.
I know that you will never forget me and you know everything about me and yet You love me. And if I die this body will die but You will not allow my soul to perish. I am precious to you.
 
Nothwithstanding that I am a vile creature in comparison to God, I think about it and the fact remains that God let His only begotten son die that I may have the chance to get back into relationship with Him. Hmmm.

Does God make bad investments? Poor decisions? Hardly. So what am I to surmise from that? That I am valuable to God.
 
According to DataGenetics, the human body is worth just over $160.00.
The soul?
It's worth is priceless!
 
$160.00 that's all. We only have worth because God gives us worth. Why He even bothers with us, I'm not sure, but we are His crowning creation. Thank the Lord for that.
 
1Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1Peter 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

How does it get better than this. Praise the name of Jesus, amen.

I love 1 Peter 2:9. If we are truly Christian we are truly peculiar. We should not think or act like the world.
