men vs women. 50:50? Visit dorms and you'd know. From experience men seem to take the lead here - except that they may be a bit untidy but they don't litter the house as often as most women do, Classik notices.

"When it comes to personal hygiene you'd be surprised that altho a woman may take her bath 4 times per day yet a man is better inside", dorm keeper laments. Not my words.

My personal hygiene is good enough. Housecleaning...not so great, when it comes to my own house. I can do housecleaning jobs for others no problem, though.

Try American english :biggrin2

Aussie. LOL

I don't consider the way the house looks hygiene.I consider the way a person keeps their bodies clean hygiene.
My dad took a bath every Saturday. That was it.He was raised in the days that the whole family took a bath in the big ole basin. My dad said it was a treat to be the first one in because the water was not changed.
I think you can over clean your body. Then it becomes an OCD sort of thing. Some people take a bath or shower every other day. That is better for the skin. Now if you have been doing something where you have been perspiring like crazy that is a different story.

Hygiene?... What's "hygiene"? It sounds kinda dirty. I'm sure it's not anything I would do.

Sweat does not offend me as much as some other body odors.

Applying deodorant on a dirty body is a crime

Perspiration always smells like onions to me :lol I think I would rather deal with perspiration odor than foot odor

According to Notker the Stammerer, hygiene is unnatural.

There was a certain deacon who followed the habits of the Italians in that he was perpetually trying to resist nature. He used to take baths, he had his head very closely shaved, he polished his skin, he cleaned his nail, he had his hair cut as short as if it were turned on a lathe, and he wore linen underclothes and a snow-white shirt.
Taking baths, shaving, cutting your hair cleaning your nails and wearing clean clothes all go against nature and are to be avoided at all costs.

I have both.
Everyone has a different amount of bacteria on their feet. The person who has alot and has been wearing tennis shoes and has been no ventilation and their feet has been sweating all day is going to have a problem. You get someone with very little bacteria on their feet will not have that problem. It is all a matter of the genes.

I have good ventalion if I walk through a two inch puddle my socks and feet are wet. or just plain mud and wet grass after a hard rain.
