Hi Everyone, I have just become a christian and wanted to share my exciting news!! I've never used a forum before but it just seemed like the right thing to do to share my news with as many people as possible, known to me and not known to me :)
I have been going to church for 7 months and until today i felt a little bit in limbo, I believed but i hadn't fully handed my life over and was trying to hang on to the control a bit too much that i have enjoyed for the last 20 years! however now I am ready to relinquish that and give myself over to Jesus my saviour, I am so excited and can't wait to go to church on Sunday and tell everyone there!

Fantastic news! This is not meant to scare you at all, but any advice that I could give you is this...do not let "persecution" (from those outside the faith) get to you. This is one of the main reasons for new believers wavering in the faith and I would certainly not like that to happen to you. I'm so excited for you. Let Christ guide your steps and you will be one happy person! ;)

I am new to forums myself. I have been a Christian for a while now but in the past couple of days I decided to see what other Christians are saying and going through. I am happy to see excited Christians on this forum. Keep up the excitement and keep sharing. God bless!!
 
The angels rejoice over one sinner who repents. But a total surrender of our lives just gives God free reign to bless us even more.
 
Im so happy for you ! Get ready for a real life changing experience as the real and living CHrist comes to abide in your Soul. Handing over the reigns of your life is what makes God very happy because now he can give you the life he desires for you...one of real fulfillment, purpose, and meaning. You are truly blessed to see gods love! Continue reading his word, and watching the world! Once you see it, you aren't blind anymore, and you keep seeing it! Praise the lord, really! If you are a new christian, than you only just began the most trust worthy, loving, beautiful relationship with god. The more you learn about him, the more you will start to understand him, and you will truly understand the relationship you have with the lord. It is something so huge that it can be hard to see, however you will see more and more and it turns out to be more beautiful every day!
