I am having an identity Crisis

I found out after I became a Christian that my maternal grandmother was Jewish. According to Jewish Law, that makes me a Jew. But I am a Christian, and I don't much about Judaism. My grandmother married a catholic and my mother was raised catholic, but was an agnostic throughout my childhood. Am I a gentile now because my grandmother converted to Catholicism? My paternal Grandmother made sure I was baptized as a Catholic when I was born. Does that make me a Catholic? I was baptized at age 17 in a Southern Baptist Church, and I still hold to Baptist teachings (for the most part). I am confusing myself as I write this. So, my question is, (really) am I a Baptist, a Catholic, or a Christian Jew, or am I just a Born again Christian? (Born again Christian is what I call myself, now).
And yes, I have accepted Christ as My Lord and Savior. :D

You are a Christian believer with Jewish heritage. You were an unbeliever until you were born again, afterwhich you are a believer.

What you are is defined by what you believe, not what your relatives believe. If you believe you're a Baptist Christian, then you're a Baptist Christian.

Don't puch such an emphasis on -isms or other such nouns. You are you, an ever changing and growing individual. A verb. All the other categorizations and such debase that and do little to actually define who you are, or your understanding of the world.

I wrote the post to be amusing. :) I know what I am, who I am, and how The Lord effects my life.
Thanks for the answers, though. :)

I forgot to mention that even though I wrote for amusement, it is all completely true.

And I thought that you were having an epiphany! :D

You are awake....

You are yourself, identity crises only happen when running Unix. Unless you are running Unix.

Try typing 'whoami' into your keyboard.

If I remember correctly, "Jew" means a praise unto God. You are Jewish not only in the heritage sense but in the sense that as a Christian you are a praise unto God.

You are what you want to be... not what people on a message board say you are.

Not only that but we're supposed to be what God wants us to be and not what other people want us to be.
