People's bodies are different. There is a typical resistance but like anything else, what is typical is not necessarily what is. Maybe your body has a much higher resistance to electric current flow and this is why it wouldn't work for you. Others might be more sensitive as well.

What I want to know is how reba (or any administrator) sits between the lowly poster and the web, and conducts the business of keeping the Wheatstone Bridge balanced?

Conduction surely needs good insulation to prevent shorts, but you do not want to be thick skinned. LOL

Looking for balanced legs must be a fun job.

Of course spiritual direction must be better than technological aids (magic arts).

Nothing like a little more weirdness.
