Oh yeah....my neighborhood is suffering from it too.

Corned beef and cabbage with red potatoes. Also with a eye watering/nose burning horseradish sauce.

Sooooo good.

Church tomorrow morning too....I'll just blame a visitor.

Good food. I haven't made that in some time now. Have to go out of town to get a good brisket.

I was looking last minute for some great rye bread.... But this ain't NY or New Jersey. So I went without.

I missed eating it for St Patrick's day. Kroger's was out.

Well, this has got to rank up there among the biggest disappointments I've had on CFnet in going from title to content. So much promise. So much potential. Corned beef? You led me on, good sir.

Awwww. What did you want it to be a discussion about?

Are we needing a hurt feelings report?
You know where such questions as,
"Was the injured party issued a Kleenex?
Was the tissue used?
Was there tissue damage?"

I try not to hurt my Christian friends feelings. But when I get to work I don't have any and neither does anyone else. I got a feelings coffin and everything. I'd get it a headstone and bury it proper if only I cared enough... But that feeling died too. stinkeye

Lovin me some cabbage and corned beef, :drool. Have some left over in the freezer and will be Mondays dinner.
Here is my question, how did ham become the choice of Resurrection day dinner and not lamb. I know we are not Jewish and under the law so please do not go there. Just wondering as my husband and I are having pork chops for dinner. I know curiosity killed the cat, but I'm not a cat :biggrin

We had lamb on Friday. Or should I say I had lamb with my mint sauce. Your having pork chops because you like pork chops. Me not. I'm about to have battered fish with tartar sauce. As for your question I have no idea. I do love corned beef and cabbage though. Corn beef hash, yum yum

Because of church.
Ham doesn't have to be hot for it to be good.
Cold lamb ain't good. Cold chicken ain't the best either but it's also too small to feed a huge gathering. But church makes us hungry...and holidays are times families unite as well as friends.
Especially in the South...
You may not have family but everyone goes to church on Easter.
