[__ Prayer __] I have a few prayer requests

First, my grandmother. Two of the main arteries in her neck are almost completely blocked. These arteries lead to the brain, so they are very important. She could have a stroke at any time. She's going to be having surgery to fix it sometime, but in the meantime she's at high risk.
She also have a bunch of other health problems.

For my dad, who is in the hospital. He's paralyzed and bedridden, so it's not uncommon for him. But still, the situation isn't very nice right now. He's almost recovered from what I'm told, but....it's complicated.

For my mom, because I know there is a lot of stress on her right now.

For some friends of mine who could also use prayers.

prayers for your family questdriven:pray I pray that God will touch your Grandma and Dad and heal them. I also pray for you and your mom that you will be the strong ground for your family during this time. Always remember that He is a Healer , Redeemer and God Almighty.

Psalms 30:2 " O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me".

Matthew 8:13 "Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour.

I remember when my grandmother was in the hospital for blocked arteries. It can be very stressful on other family members. I pray that your grandmother and father make a safe recovery. I also pray that your mother feel more at ease and for any other problems that you, your friends, and your family have to fade away. For God is my witniss. Amen. :pray

Thank you.

Apparently my dad is ready to be released from the hospital now, but he also has kidney problems and has to have dialysis three times per week. The place that does dialysis can't take him right now, so they have to send him to stay somewhere else temporarily. Problem is, if he stays there too long, we'll lose our income. (My mom can't work, has so much to do already and on top of that her own health problems.)
Another reason I need to find a job, and to get more serious about looking for one.

Today I was told that my grandmother was found fallen on the floor, and had to be taken to the hospital.
At the hospital they found that she had a minor heart attack and her blood pressure is dropping. She might not make it.
:sad

I'm so sorry to learn of the health/stress issues within your family & friends, Questdriven ... definitely, everyone has been added to my prayer list.

Our Lord is our rock and our strength ... with Him, we can face what awaits us in future, both near & far.

Blessings!

Oh no! I am sorry to hear that. I will be praying!

I also mentioned that some friends of mine could use prayers.
Well, one of them is going through some problems right now, a lot at once, and she is feeling very stressed. I just got a message from her and I just wish I could do more to help.

My grandmother is doing better, though. Better than they expected her to. She may be able to go home in a couple of days.

Good to hear of your grandmother's progress.

Hope your friend will be doing better.

Great news! :D

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. My prayers are with her.

Thank you.

So my grandma is going home tomorrow. :) The doctor wants her to be supervised 24/7. Apparently he originally wanted her to go to a nursing home, but she doesn't want that and neither does anyone else.

Wonderful news, Questdriven! Glad to learn she's doing so well, so rapidly!
Such a lovely answer to immediate prayers .... she will continue to remain in my prayers.

Today the transportation company that takes my dad to and from dialysis got into a wreck.
Thankfully my dad was not with them...they were on the way to picking him up, though. And the people who were inside died instantly...

With all that happens and us still being here, sometimes we forget just how quickly death could happen.
I'll pray for their families.

I literally just found out that my grandmother died. I feel like I barely knew her since I only met her a few times and talked to her a handful of times, but it's hard to believe she's actually gone.
Last night she had had to go to the hospital again, and earlier this morning I had heard she was in the ICU. I was expecting her to make a recovery, I guess. I mean she always did before.

I'm going to have to tell my mom once she gets back home...I can't imagine how she'll take it.

My heart-felt sympathy to you & your family, questdriven, on the loss of your grandmother. You all are in my prayers as you face all the arrangements and with all the healing afterwards. Blessings, my friend.
