I would add that in his second book he mentions that his wife was not sexually pure before she met him. She had made mistakes that they both had to deal with when considering marriage, and he shares some of their individual perspectives on that. He had not met her yet whilst writing his first book, so that may have impacted his thoughts a lot since then.

That's true, I do remember reading that. I guess my issue with that is, what does he consider sexually impure? Because it seems like if "first base" is considered impure, imagine what someone feels when they have willingly lived their lives hitting home runs? You know what I'm saying? I guess I see a big difference between someone trying to forget a few kisses or touches and someone trying to forget an entire past life.

I'm not sure if it's in the first or the second book but he shares an analogy of a bride getting married and having every one of her "experiences" along side with her while she is trying to marry "the one"

I mean, I get what he's saying but at the same time...you know I'm going to be thinking about that analogy on my marriage day, right?

I know, God forgives all...it's the future husbands or wives that worry me.
