The nickname is part of the prophesy? How long has this Saint Malachy prophecy been around? I've only heard of it since Benedict's election, and sometimes I wonder why?Tarcisio Bertone would also be the choice if you believe the Prophesy of Saint Malachy, the 12th century priest who predicted there would be 113 popes and then no more before final Judgement. The next Pope is number 113. His Latin nickname is to be "Petrus Romanus"
How come it's only after Benedict's election that this prophecy has surfaced? If this prophecy is do detailed and has prophecied the popes for years, why is it only coming to the world's attention now? Why haven't skeptics been discussing this phenomenon?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Malachy

According to St. Malachy's vision, the next pope is the last one.

As usual, as I figured, the document is a fraud. I don't know why this society allows such propaganda to circulate, but then again, that's part of the world system. The document was declared a fraud 1500 yrs ago by the vatican itself. How sad.Maybe if it wasn't buried, knowing about it would have changed it, and it wasn't supposed to be changed? That's the best I can figure. I stumbled upon it as a related youtube video to something I was watching, basically on accident.

The link you provided on the prophecy says the document was accurate up to the time it was first published in the 1590s. It's inaccurate since then, which caused them or anyone else for that matter, to conclude that it's a fraud. [One] would think it was accurate to the last pope! It's not!So it's a fraud because the vatican says? [Edited by SparrowHawke]

I don't like doing that any more than you would like it if you were to edit my posts. When I do, I try very hard to keep a fair and even scalpel in my hand and surgically remove damaged tissue so that the "problem" if we may call it that, does no longer have a chance to spread from out of the area to the greater field or domain. In addition it is incumbent on me to treat all as the same, not giving preference to one or another and it is my hope that in this my acts will serve you well. In other words, I try to leave the integrity of the message intact. The "you people" you edit wasn't anything personal. I was referring to those that speak of the document as if it predicted every pope to present without error.
Now I know how Noah must of felt!
Well ...... cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, Benedict's right hand man ...!
You did the right thing by leaving out the word should in my statement.vocalyocal's qupte of part of my statement:

I figured when the vatican caught wind of my observation, they would alter their votes, that's why I said should in the first place! But guess what? Everyone thought they would elect a young pope, but this guy is the same age as my pick, and has a striking similarity to him too. Go figure.
The deed is done. Let's see if his demeanor changes after his election, as did Benedict's.
Look for the masonic eyes, etc..
