[__ Prayer __] I need peace of mind...

I posted last night about my PSP being stolen from my aunt's house and highly suspecting/ virtually knowing it was taken by a couple of kids who I used to think of as some of my best friends, but have no way to prove they did what they did.

I cannot accept that they might get away with it scot-free and that I will never know for sure what happened to it.

If you all can please pray for me to let go of this issue and pray for the two boys who took part in the deceitful thievery that ensued, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you very much & God Bless
-Dan

PS: here is the link my original post... warning: it is LONG!

Dan I think your attitude is great regarding the situation. I pray that the kids that stole your psp will come to Christ and return it to you. God Bless you

Jn. 14:27- Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid- stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled. (Amp.)

I speak peace over your heart and mind, and grace to let it go. Praise God for your attitude. God will deal with those who are responsible because you are able to let it go and let Him deal with the situation.

Father, I pray this believer is recompensed for his loss by You, Lord, because he has been honorable in the way he has chosen to deal with it. Thank you Father that You will receive all the glory. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Thank you so much for your prayers. jmwe29, that verse is wonderful, I appreciate it.

I will give one last phone call to the prime suspect tomorrow, humbling myself & begging him to reveal any information that can ease my mind. If he continues to act ignorant, I will let it go and let God handle it knowing I've done all I can.

Once again, thank you very much for all your help! :waving

As I went through a similar situation recently, I was deeply touched by your prayer. In my situation, I have totally decided to let it go. I never pursued the issue because I knew I would come up empty handed. So I gave the matter to God and am trusting Him to right this wrong in His way and in His timing. It's not easy, though, because some people who are close to me feel that I should try to take some sort of legal action. But I think it is futile and would actually create more chaos. I'd rather just give the whole matter to God. Your prayer and comments have strengthened my belief that I am doing the right thing. Thank you (even though you weren't talking about me or to me...it helped me anyway) :)

Dan, I pray you will find peace with letting the situation go and trusting God to take care of the matter in His way and in His timing. He is the ultimate judge.
