I Never Understood

I have never understood a Nudist Camp, now here is a article that says we have the wrong perception of them. I don't think so 50 to a 100 people walking around naked is crazy to me, and to take your wife or husband is just about as stupid as you can get. What do they get out of eating dinner naked ? I just don't get it.

I just want to know what makes people do that,, what kind of thinking goes along with that. Are you really some kind of under cover sex fiend or something, I just don't get it.

haters, move to florida and get this tropical disease. florida , so I was told, has the most nudist camps. its in the heat.

Ive been to one. Simply, I like the feeling of the sun on my body. Nudist camps, resorts, and beaches vary depending on who owns it and the rules in place. To be honest, you can get desenitzed to nudity really quick. A lot of the sexual concepts come from us putting taboos on the body for the most part.

What I don't understand is who on this forum would be able to answer your question? Or if they could, who would dare to? :biggrin2
LOL Well I've never been to one but I went to school in CT with a girl who's family did. She was one of my best friends in junior high. The only people who knew were those who were really close to her. Her father, mother, brother, and her all went every summer for two weeks, it was either in Vermont or New Hampshire. She never could explain why they went there but I can tell you what kind of girl she was.
When the other girls and guys were busy ogling the latest rock star, movie star, or model she was unimpressed. It just didn't faze her or mean anything to her about what someone looked on the outside. By eighth and ninth grade we all knew the kids that were sexually active, she was not one of them. She was not into dolly herself up with makeup and clothes to attract the boys. She always looked nice, clean and simple in appearance. She was very pretty, very smart, a math whiz, and very nice to others.
Her parents were on their first marriage and being around them as a kid I don't imagine that they ever would, they were a very happy family. Her mom was a stay at home mom and her father was a professional, college educated but I don't remember what he did. :shrug

Yeah, I did. I's standin' overe there by the tomaters, and here he
come, running through the pole beans, through the fruits and vegetables,
nekkid as a jay bird. And I hollered over t' Ethel, I said, "Don't
look, Ethel!" But it's too late, she'd already been incensed.

(Chorus)
Here he comes, look at that, look at that
There he goes, look at that, look at that
And he ain't wearin' no clothes

Oh, yes, they call him the Streak
Look at that, look at that
Fastest thing on two feet
Look at that, look at that

:lol Funny song.

When dh was in high school one of the seniors did a streak across the gymnasium during half time at a basketball game, wearing nothing but a stocking over his head/face and work boots.

Interesting considering one of the Camps I lived by had a Church built on the main part of the grounds. The community itself outside has a large religious population, and the area is very Republican/"conservative". There are 2 camps about a few miles apart and they have different user bases and concepts. One's a more Family one with a hotel and events that run year round. The Other is more of a camp site. Its for nature walks, hiking, seting up tents or RV's, and a retreat for couples.
