Especially when it comes to dealing with my anger issues. I had a bit of trouble with them tonight, but I also noticed a vast improvement with it. :) So before singing off for the night (although I might be back later to write a review for How to Train Your Dragon Hidden World that I will be watching soon) I only ask that you pray I will get stronger with managing my anger issues. :yes

You might be tired from your vacation. Its usually easier to control anger when you are well rested. I rejoice with you about all improvements.

Actually I have been well rested for the past couple days now but thank you very much. :)

We all have our issues and that is when we press into Christ to be like Him to handle those problem areas. Just keep growing and trusting as you have come along way in the Lord.

Thank you very much I can tell. :) I think you meant to say a long but that's just the grammar Nazi in me talking. :lol

i read a book about the Christian life once, and the author encouraged his readers to pray to be "made more like Jesus." and so...

for a while now...I've been praying to be made "a little less (), and a little more Jesus," and...

bit by bit, day by day...He's been putting off the old, putting on the new in ways that matter, for my family and for me, anyway.

not that I'm 110% Christ-like. I'm...surprisingly -normal- , which is an unexpected development, a sort of quiet, slow motion miracle for my family and me.

being conformed unto the image of Christ Jesus is what Christian morality and gradual growth, sanctification should aim for, really. Thing is...

development occurs differently...different rates, different set backs, different blessings...in each Christian. and yet...

I do think there are certain themes...becoming less self-focused, less worldly, more compassionate, more merciful, more discerning...

that's just my observation, from reading over other peoples' testimonies and from talking to (not very many) other Christians.

hope this helps. :-)

A little bit, I sort of understand what you're saying. :)

This is how we become more like Christ everyday.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
