I see no difference between them.

Morally speaking/From bible perspective, What is the difference between these two people:

AA and BB?

AA married 4 wives/husbands and is seen guilty of polygamy. But, BB married CC and divorced CC. Afterwards, BB married the new DD and later kick DD away. Finally, BB married EE and kept EE.

(I tried not to indicate gender. AA or BB is either male or female and each must marry the opposite sex)

Well, the new testament makes it clear that it is ideal to have only one wife and that was God's intention (Mark 10:6-8)

Divorce is very clearly not what God has in plan for us (Malachi 2:16) and aside from marital infidelity, it's forbidden in both the old and new testaments (Matthew 5:32)

Yes, polygamy did occur in the old testament, but almost all of those cases were men of very high political power who could basically do whatever they wanted without fear of mortal judgement (gosh, what does this remind people of?)

So in your two examples, assuming in the second case that BB was cheated on by CC and then by DD, BB would be scripturally justified in their decisions to divorce. I can't help think that God might be more impressed though, if they'd shown forgiveness.
