I Want to Thank the Military...

This thread is devoted to anyone of any nation who wants to thank any military organization in the world.
 
i can list units and i shall.

the 690th mp co that is in afghanistan. and also 1218 trans co that i think is heading back again.
these are my sister units and comrades at arms.Lift them up to the lord. especially the later.
 
God is the one we should be thanking; as we military could not win any battles without Him!

I was in the army during the first gulf war! God miraculously protected my battalion and I. Even though we engaged the enemy 16 times, not one person got so much as a bullet scratch! PRAISE THE LORD! :clap

I have seen from first hand experiance God's power of protection and giving us the victory. But God could easily reverse the miriacles if He wanted too! I am convinced that if God does not protect this nation, then we have no protection! So let us be thankful that God has not yet decided to turn us over to our enemies! Althogh with the removal of the dont ask dont tell policy; it will only be a matter of time before America seaces to be a nation! Please pray that God will bring this nation to repentance!

why do some say that? i dont like the removal of the ban but really.

being gay or member of the lbgt isnt any greater of a sin or worse then abortion.

i am in the national guard and have seen also what you talk about.

alot of those stories.

and yes america needs to repent.

You are correct, and neither homosexuality or abortion should be permited in our society! God will certainly wipe this country out for these sins as well as it's many other sins! But God does seem to hate homosexuality more than he hate's murder. Mose murdered an egyptian, yet later God used him to lead His people out of egypt. David murdered over one hundred men just to pay a dowry for a wife. yet the new testament says that he was a man after God's own heart.

but God wiped out Sodom and Gomorah because of their homosexuality! And throughout history God has continually shown a zero tolorance for homosexuality. That's why gay's have AID'S and many other STD's. It's God's way of telling them that they are not worthy of life! But these std's kill them so slowly that they just might see that what they are doing is wrong and repent! I know of a few ex-homsexuals. some of them had AIDS before they became a christian. But because they repented with all their hearts, God healed them! And to this very day they do not have AID's. So the removal of the dont ask dont tell policy is not something that God will take lightly!

hands that shed inoccent blood(whats this murder)
gays and lesbians acts.
to name a few.

and while its a risky lifestyle i want to comment this and it alone.

and also so that you know.

and i was into porn.

hetero males do let women perform anal sex acts.

and other things..
sodom and gommoroh werent judge for being gay alone(the word strange flesh is i believe porneon(all manner of sex outside the marriage bed and other perverse acts known to the greeks)

i didnt feel that brave when i was fired at, more scared out of my mind.
i reacted as i had to stay alive, but i assure you that fear of not making it was there.

When I went through the 1st gulf war, I had no fear at all! God had told me that I was not going to harmed in the war, and I had complete faith in that promise. (although there was one time that I had fear, that was when an artillary round landed close enough to our humv that it rocked it. But I just reminded myself of Gods promise to me and the peace of God once again rained in my heart. Those who are made perfect in love do not fear anything except God!

Bravery is not always having no fear while doing something dangerous; It is very often doing the right thing despite the fear that you have in your heart!

i watched men drown and asked God to spare them, and he did!. and this in country.

let me add this.

the times that i had a fear where the times when the fuel point went up and also the first time i was rocketed.

all other times i didnt think much of it.

Not me, I have Marines in the family.

When we buried Dad I found his discharge papers from the Presidio of San Francisco @ 1945. In 1997 my nephew commanded the last Color Guard stationed at the Presidio, if you watched the 49ers in the 90s you've seen him, the Color Guard that honored Dad.:salute

Over Christmas a Marine in our family arrived safely home form Asia.

Thank God and thank the Marines!
