how two people who once were in love can become total strangers.

Yesterday, I attended a picnic with one of my sons, his wife and their two children. He attends the same church as his father.

As I look at the crowd I saw my ex.. We do not even exchange a civil hello.

After the divorce, it was kind of hurtful..but now I just see him and that is it.
I often ask myself what really goes through his mind..when he first told me he truly love me..MAY BE ALL MEN ARE LIARS.

. I understand that you've been hurt abide but we should not put all men out there into that impression. Some of them are also struggling too. I guess we just have accept that the word " love " is overrated and none of us will trully understand it's meaning until we fall down unto our knees and look up unto the only One who can satisfy our need, our comfort , and our desires. Not trying to justify what she said. Trully, men started all the nonsense that happen today. In the OT most men married more than one woman. The first wives had to suffer in silence. (Not trying to change the OP).... don't kill me, guys. ;)

You also have to remember that it can sometimes be too painful for someone to even exchange a simple hello.

Though you may no longer be in love, there may still be feelings that make it too hard for him to acknowledge you.
