if im wrong im more than willing to be corrected.

my inner struggle
you say the devil lives within you?
And you call yourself a Christian?
Listen and learn.

If you are a Christian, then the Holy Spirit lives with in you and there is no room for the devil.
Sounds more like you are struggling with what the devil tries to do to you, but remember, cast him out in the name of Jesus.
There is power in the name of Jesus
Uses that power everday of your life
Live in victory!!!

my brain.

We all live with that.
Rise above it and live in victory.

Our brain is carnal and does not conform to the ways of Spiritual things. Spirit and flesh will always struggle, but the victory over the flesh comes when we walk in the Spirit.

Ideally that would occur. But in reality , Satan manages to work on/in Christians as well. In fact, I read somewhere that some major saints had to struggle more with the Devil, than the average person.
Spiritual pride is the devil in disguise as well.

1John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

In all reality Satan will always try to come against us as that is a fact, but we have One greater within us that gives us the victory over the wiles of Satan who tempts us for the purpose of stealing our faith.

I also stand on Psalms 91 and Romans 8:31-39.

This brings to mind a quote I heard recently.

"You cant keep the birds from flying overhead, but you can stop them from building a nest in your hair."

Not sure whose quote, maybe cs lewis. But as stated above we all struggle a bit with this. We just have to find ways to fight off our own bad side and keep moving along the best we can.

That's a profound statement actually. Maybe your best one. Many will say ," but of course" but some of us don't realise when we are trusting the devil. The devil has many guises.
I would hope that, as Christians, we are able to recognize the evil one....
even if we are drawn in by him every now and then.
At least we should know what we're doing...otherwise how would we know we've sinned???

I am tempted to give a political example here. Is the devil tempting me?

Simply said and well said.
We should all be aware that we have a dark side.
If we don't know that we do...how are we able to avoid it?
Good point.

LOL.
Actually, I do feel that every move we make is serving either God or satan.
This is an extreme view and I've received some teaching which states that not every bad
action is from the evil one. But then where would it come from?

I think we sin a lot more than we'd like to think and we should at least be aware of it.
