I've been posting under the same name at another similar forum but have become disenchanted with how the forum is run. I would like to get to know you all here a little better to see if this is a better fit for me. I am a Fundamentalist Christian but do not belong to any denomination. I am a 5-pt Calvinist with respect to election, but disagree with him on other issues. I take the Bible as literal truth, unless obvious to the contrary. I believe in an Old Earth Creation as explained by the Ruin-Reconstruction Theory (Gap Theory) and as shown by science. I do not believe in evolution.
On a more personal level, I am an engineer by education and experience. I've been married to the same wonderful woman for 32 years. Although I do not hunt, I like putting holes in paper with handguns or rifles. This is a hobby my wife and I share as well as our love for dogs, we have three Pomeranians. I am an introvert which you probably won't notice since I'm on a computer somewhere on Earth.
