For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:6-8 NIV
I away thought then that if the answer is 'yes' then the individual is already a step away from the grave. How about Paul? It seems he made that statement while he was still very young and probably far away from the grave - death.
Could a person in her thirties make such a statement (assume the person would live very long, say 30 more years)
No we can not.We have not finished the race unto we are home with Him.That is the finish line.I guess some people might want to give up and fight the good fight any longer but I would not advise it.
